Camembert and Prosciutto Tartines are an elegant and delicious open-faced sandwich perfect for a quick lunch or appetizer. The combination of creamy Camembert cheese, savory prosciutto, and tangy balsamic glaze creates a flavor explosion that will impress your taste buds.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of crusty bread
- 4 ounces Camembert cheese, sliced
- 4 slices of prosciutto
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Warm up the broiler
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them under the broiler for about two minutes on each side
Put a slice of Camembert cheese on top of each piece of bread after taking it out of the oven
To make the cheese melt and bubble, put the baking sheet back under the broiler and broil for another one to two minutes
Take the baking sheet out of the oven and put a slice of prosciutto on top of each piece of bread and cheese
Add olive oil and balsamic glaze to each tartine
Add black pepper that has just been ground
Add some fresh basil leaves as a garnish
Serve right away
