Ingredients:
- 500g minced beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 400g pasta of your choice
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Add the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper to a large bowl
Mix the ingredients together until they are well mixed
Use your hands to form the meat into small balls
Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat
For about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned on all sides, add them to the pan
Take it out of the pan and set it aside
Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Put the marinara sauce in the same pan and bring it to a simmer
The meatballs should be fully cooked by the time you add them to the sauce
Let them cook for another 5 to 7 minutes
Put the cooked pasta in the pan with the meatballs and sauce
Add everything to a bowl and mix it together until the pasta is well covered in sauce
Grate some mozzarella cheese on top and let it melt
If you want, you can serve it hot with extra parsley and Parmesan cheese on top
