Ingredients:
- 180g aquafaba liquid from a can of chickpeas
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 100g almond flour
- 100g powdered sugar
- 50g granulated sugar
- Vegan chocolate chips or candy melts
- Vegan frosting for decorating optional
Instructions:
Start by heating the oven up to 300F 150C
Put parchment paper on baking sheets
It will take about 10 minutes of beating the aquafaba and cream of tartar in a large bowl until stiff peaks form
Sift the powdered sugar and almond flour together in a different bowl
Mix the almond flour mixture into the aquafaba mixture slowly until it is all mixed together
The batter should be put into a piping bag with a round tip
When the baking sheets are ready, pipe small circles on them to make the bodies and heads of the snowmen
After you pipe the circles, let them sit for 30 minutes so that the tops can form a skin
The macarons should be baked in a hot oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until they feel firm to the touch
Leave them on the baking sheets to cool all the way down
Follow the directions on the package to melt the vegan chocolate chips or candy melts
Melt the chocolate and use it to give the snowmen eyes, mouths, and buttons
You can use vegan frosting to give the snowmen scarves or other decorations if you want to
Let the decorations dry before you serve
