Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
Brown sugar, bourbon, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes should all be mixed together in a bowl with a whisk
Pour half of the marinade over the chicken breasts in a plastic bag that can be closed again
Put the bag in the fridge for at least two hours, or overnight for the best results
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Take the chicken out of the marinade and throw away the marinade
Brush the chicken with vegetable oil and cook it on the grill for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until its fully cooked
During the last few minutes of cooking, baste the chicken with the marinade that you saved
Make sure the chickens internal temperature is at least 165F 74C
Once its done, take it off the grill and let it rest for a few minutes
